Can I use a 1, 3 or 10 minute timer?
Yes. Select 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes before starting. You can also enter a custom duration from 1 to 120 minutes. Reset the timer to choose a different duration.
Is this timer silent?
Yes. The timer, animation and completion message make no sound. There is no alarm or background music.
Is it free, and do I need to sign up?
It is free to use in your browser, with no account or download.
Will it work in another tab or with my screen locked?
Elapsed time is checked against the clock, so the remaining time is corrected when you return. The finish message is only shown on this page; background tabs, sleeping devices and locked screens may delay it. This is not a background alarm.
Does watching an animation count as an eye break?
The animation offers a calm visual focus, but it is still a screen. For an offscreen break, look away from your device. You can hide the animation while the timer continues.
